Le Grand S.T. Dupont stands as a masterpiece of modern lighter engineering, offering a unique dual ignition system in a single casing. With a simple, intuitive flick of the roller, the lighter emits a traditional soft yellow flame ideal for gentle lighting. Pushing the roller upward transforms the flame into a powerful, wind-resistant torch jet blue flame built to toast cigars quickly and evenly. Crafted from solid brass with deep black guilloché detailing, this lighter brings heavy, luxurious weight to your hand while boasting an enhanced opening mechanism that delivers both tactile and auditory perfection with every use. Dual Yellow & Blue Flame System Initiate a soft yellow flame for classic lighting, or slide the ignition roller up to activate a high-performance blue torch jet flame. Iconic “Cling” Acoustic Opening Engineered with S.T. Dupont’s famous opening sound mechanism, producing a clear, crystal-like ringing tone when opened. Monogram 1872 Guilloché Detailing Features intricate precision-engraved Monogram 1872 guilloché patterns filled with deep black accents and solid brass metalwork. Dupont Lighter Ignite Yellow Flame: Flick the side roller downward like a traditional flint lighter to ignite the classic soft yellow flame. Switch to Torch Flame: Push the ignition roller upward while lit to instantly convert the soft flame into an intense blue torch jet flame. Purge Before Refilling: Turn the lighter upside down. Depress the base fill valve completely with a small tool to vent trapped air and residual pressure. Refill Gas: Screw or press the S.T. Dupont Red Gas Canister (REF 900435) into the base valve. Hold vertically for 5 seconds to fill. Wait 3–5 minutes before igniting to allow the gas to equalize.
